Conscious Connected Breathwork session – 75 mins (start to finish)

No food 2 hours before

Breathwork is best done on the floor, on a yoga mat with a light blanket

No pillow unless you have a physical requirement

An eye mask is recommended

Plan to rest and not rush off after

What happens during the session?

Conscious connected breathwork is entirely through the mouth without a pause. Breathing deep saturates our bodies with oxygen, clearing negative emotions, traumas & other stored emotional experiences from our sympathetic nervous system. There is a reduction of CO2 causing the body to compensate by alkalizing the blood enabling certain brain changes. Transient hypo-frontality is a result of breathwork powering down the frontal lobe. This area of the brain is responsible for the ego, mental constructs & where your inner critic lives. Once powered down you have heightened access to intuition, inner wisdom & deep personal truths.

How it’s done?

Lying down on your back in a comfortable position in a private space. Inhale into the belly, into the chest, and exhale out ... repeat. A dynamic soundtrack helps guide your journey and creates an experience to relax and release. The active breathing is 30mins, we guide you the entire time. It may feel challenging in the beginning, but you’ve done harder things than lying on the floor breathing for 30mins.

Common physical symptoms during breathwork:

A tingly sensation in hands, feet & face

Dizziness, light-headedness

Muscle tightness in hands and jaw

Altered states of consciousness

Big emotional releases
