From Hibernation Mode to Moving Your Body After Winter

Why Spring Is the Best Time to Try Something New

Spring has a way of waking everything up — longer days, warmer air, and that feeling that it’s time to shake off winter and try something different.

It’s the season of fresh starts, which makes it the perfect time to switch up your movement routine or finally try that class you’ve been curious about!

At Move, we love seeing people step onto the mat (or the reformer!) for the first time, try a new style, or rediscover their practice after a long winter. You don’t have to be flexible, experienced, or “good at it.” You just have to start.

Yoga 🧘‍♀️

If you’re looking for a balanced, feel-good class, Flow is a great place to start. You’ll move with your breath through a sequence that builds strength, mobility, and focus. It’s accessible, energizing, and leaves you feeling refreshed! Try Rise & Shine, Rhythm & Relax, But First Yoga or Go with the Flow. Spice it up with Soundtrack Sweat or Raps & Yoga Mats!

Power Flow 🔥

Ready to build heat and strength? Power Flow is our more dynamic style — expect a stronger pace, a good sweat, and that amazing energized feeling afterward. Perfect if you want a workout that still keeps the mindful side of yoga. Try Power Moves or Yoga & Core.

Yin Yoga 🌙

If your body feels tight from winter, travel, or sitting too much, Yin is the reset button. Long, slow holds target the deeper connective tissues and help release tension in the hips, spine, and legs. It’s slow, grounding, and surprisingly powerful. Try Nappy Hour, Rhythm & Relax or Candlelight Deep Stretch.

Pilates 💪

Our Pilates classes follow the original Joseph Pilates method, focused on core strength, posture, and controlled movement. They’re a great complement to your routine and help you build stability and strength that supports your whole body. Try Lengthen & Strengthen or Moving Meditation.

Reformer Pilates

If you want something fun, challenging, and incredibly effective, try Reformer Pilates. Using the reformer, these classes build strength, improve mobility, and target muscles you didn’t even know you had. It’s one of the fastest ways to level up your strength and mobility all in one.

Strength ⚡

Our Strength classes are designed to help you build real, functional strength in a supportive studio environment. Using weights and resistance, these classes focus on improving muscle strength, stability, and overall body resilience so you can move better both on and off the mat. Strength training pairs perfectly with yoga and Pilates, helping support joints, posture, and long-term mobility. If you’ve been curious about adding strength training to your routine, this is a great place to start. Try Arms, Abs & Ass, Strength Train to the Beat, or Candlelight Slow and Strong

Sculpt ✨

Sculpt classes at Move combine lighter weights, higher reps, and controlled movements to create a full-body burn that builds endurance and tones muscles. Expect a fun, upbeat class that mixes strength work and core training to leave you feeling energized and accomplished. It’s a great complement to your classes and a favourite for anyone who loves a sweaty, feel-good workout. Try MVMNT, Candlelight Sculpt, The Blend or Meet me at the Barre

Reformer Fit

Not considered Pilates but a sculpt style fitness class using a reformer machine. Always a good time and a good burn!
